In 1972, when digging the site of the stupa to build the sarira pagoda, sarira pagoda monument, and historical site monument of Cheongdam Daejongsa, a Goryeo temple bell, five bronze spoons, a pair of bronze chopsticks, two bronze ladles, a bronze mirror, and one coin were excavated all at once, and are currently stored at the Cheongdam Memorial Hall. These artifacts, whose excavation site is clear, are a mix of typical metal crafts from the Goryeo Dynasty, Sangpyeong Tongbo from the Joseon Dynasty, and bronze mirrors from the Edo Period in Japan, proving that the site of the stupa was a building site that existed for a long time.
