According to reform of the administration zone under the Japanese imperial government, partial areas of Inchang-myeon of Goyang-gun were incorporated into Soongin-myeon (areas of Mia-dong, Beon-dong, Suyu-dong-and Ui-dong)

Per article No. 159 per President’s order, partial areas of Soongin-myeon of Goyang-gun, Gyeongki-do were incorporated into Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mia-dong, Beon-dong, Suyu-dong, Ui-dong areas). Established Soongin branch office.

Per article No. 6548 per President’s order, Dobong-gu from Seongbuk-gu separates (22 administrative acting dong)

1975.10.1. ~ 1985.9.1.

According to the city ordinance, border adjustment with Seongbuk-gu and over-populated dong areas became separated (22 dongs → 36 dongs)
